(1.) One of David's sons born after his establishment in Jerusalem (2 Samuel 5:16).

(2.) A mighty man of war, a Benjamite (2 Chronicles 17:17).

(3.) An Aramite of Zobah, captain of a marauding band that troubled Solomon (1 Kings 11:23).

ELIADA; ELIADAH

e-li'-a-da, ('elyadha`, "God is knowing." Compare HPN, 219, 266, 301; Epidae, or Elidae):

(1) One of the sons of David (2 Samuel 5:16 1 Chronicles 3:8; called BEELIADA, 1 Chronicles 14:7 (which see)).

(2) A descendant of Benjamin and a captain in the army of Jehoshaphat, commander of 200,000 men (2 Chronicles 17:17).

(3) Father of Rezon, an "adversary" of Solomon (1 Kings 11:23, the King James Version "Eliadah").
