(2) A Levite mentioned in connection with the prayer preceding the signing of the covenant (Nehemiah 9:5); possibly identical with the Hashabiah (chashabhyah) of Ezra 8:19, 24 Nehemiah 10:11; Nehemiah 11:22; Nehemiah 12:24, or one of these.
