(2) A son of Mary, perhaps identical with (1) (Matthew 27:56 Mark 15:40, 47). See BRETHREN OF THE LORD. (3) A name of Barnabas (Acts 4:36 the King James Version, where again Greek and the Revised Version (British and American) have "Joseph"). See BARNABAS.
